How to beat Airline upgrade rip-off – I stopped them grabbing $1100!
A story of a nasty little trick the Airline uses to try to extort money from passengers in a vulnerable position. Whilst it is a story of exploitation and rip-off, it also shows how to prevent airlines ripping you off. SAA South African Airways tried to get $1100 out of me by putting me under pressure at the last minute – their greed ultimately proved their undoing.
